Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney, born on the 19th November in 1959 in the United States is an American actress. Through a long career that spans thirty years, she's known for her performances across multiple genres of screen and on stage. Janney has won numerous accolades such as an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award along with an Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to nominations to win two Tony Awards. Janney, who was raised by her parents in Dayton and Boston by her parents, received a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for her to study further after graduation from Kenyon College. Janney received credit for a number of small and very rare appearances on film and television in the past. Her most memorable performance as C. J. Cregg in NBC's The West Wing (1999-2006) brought her 4 Primetime Emmy Awards. The show won her the Primetime Emmy Award in 2014 for the Best Guest Actress in for a Drama Series for her performance in Margaret Scully's part on Masters of Sex. The character she played was Bonnie Plunkett
