Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England in February 1994. He's the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where, with three other students, he founded his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performance. Despite having been a fan of music, as well, he was also interested in becoming an attorney or physiotherapist. To help support the family, he took some time as a part-time worker for a local baker. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and did Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. His group was forced by the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be a member of a brand new group, One Direction. The others were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The formation of the group was a fact in 2010 when the five youths were funded by Simon Cowell. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You The song was composed by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the contest. They were one of the favorite groups for the coveted prize. The group finished in third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. While Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco Record label.
