Kelly

Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is an extremely popular American following her win on American Idol's inaugural season. The win not only catapulted her into the limelight however, it also secured the singer a multi-album contract in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. Since then she has released many studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just did not make it to the top. Her name is among the most successful artists to come out of The American Idol series. She was a bit flimsy as she found popularity with various themes and musical style, and often wrote the songs herself. Her individuality and her singing ability earned her critical acclaim along with a host of prestigious prizes. She has been the most notable winner of three times the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her music career, she also has worked in film and TV. She has also written the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of numerous charities.
