LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 - is an pro American basketball player. The player is referred to for his role as King James and is considered to be among the best basketball players ever. James was awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team as well as 2 Olympic medals. James has earned the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh-highest assists. James has been named as an NBA All-Star 18 times. James is part of the NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a potential NBA superstar. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the top league players, winning the NBA MVP title in both 2009 and 2010.
